Christine Reed

Christine has over 20 years of experience in operations, with the last 13 years being in

K-12 education. Most recently, she served as the Senior Operations Officer for

Hiawatha Academies network of 5 charter schools in Minneapolis. Her other K-12

operations experience includes serving as the Director of Operations for Civitas

Education Partners in Chicago, IL where she supported operations for 4 charter

schools. Her work in the private sector includes roles as an engineer and manufacturing management with companies such as Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Avery Dennison. Christine holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University, a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University and an MBA from Purdue University.

Originally from New Orleans, Christine has lived in the Midwest for over 20 years, the

last 4 being in Minneapolis. She remains a “southern girl” at heart and still struggles with the rough winters. She loves animals and has recently adopted a kitten named Gato. Little known fun fact(s): Christine loves Pixar animated films (her fave is “The

Incredibles”). Her top bucket list item? To be the voice of a character in a Pixar film!
