If I decided to join the Move for America Fellowship what advice would you give me?

Even though the job was outside my comfort zone and expertise, I wish I had some experience in what I would end up doing, but thankfully I learned a lot on the job and became better than I thought I'd be at my job just a month into the work. Of course, there's been continuous learning throughout the whole year, so I only wish I could have engaged with more people and made more local connections.

If I decided to join the Move for America Fellowship what advice would you give me?

Like for Move for America, keep an open mind and don't be afraid to leave your comfort zone, but also be patient as things may not come together right away, though they will eventually!

The importance of local connections and networking, and how there are many opportunities not just for expanding your work but also for other opportunities that can call out to you after you finish. Also the importance to always keep in mind your reason for doing the work you do, and to keep that motivation going.

If I decided to join the Move for America Fellowship what advice would you give me?

Keep an open mind, and know that this is an opportunity to reach out to make direct impacts and efforts for some great local organizations, so go into it with all you got, but know you're not alone!
